Who are we?
At the heart of our expertise is Debbie, a highly experienced childcare and early years specialist with a career spanning over 40 years.
Beginning as a nanny, she gained many years of valuable hands-on experience working with families, before transitioning into the nursery sector when she had children of her own. From Room Senior to Deputy Manager where Debbie played a key role in revitalising a closed nursery, helping to redesign its layout and create a safe, engaging and enriching environment for children.

With a long-held ambition to support families and childcare professionals, Debbie went on to launch her own award-winning Nanny Agency, Savernake Nannies. Her commitment to raising industry standards led her to advise BAPN (British Association of Professional Nannies), here she provided expert guidance on agency related matters.
Debbie’s passion for the nanny profession also saw her take an active role in the RM Campaign (Regulation Matters Campaign), serving as part of the management team and chairing the Practitioners forum. A key mission of the campaign was to highlight the lack of regulation in the UK nanny sector and the potential risks this poses to child safety.
With decades of hands-on experience and deep industry knowledge, Debbie continues to support and advise professionals across the childcare and early years sector. Whether guiding practitioners, settings, agencies or helping families find the right support, she remains dedicated to raising standards and ensuring that children receive the best possible care.
Her wealth of experience allows her to offer practical, insightful advice on a wide range of childcare-related topics, making a meaningful impact on the sector.
